Her passion for music and artistry is driven by the ephemeral and persistent peace that electronic music has maintained and commanded for decades. Pr0xima is a queer artist carving out her space in Portland, known for playing with listener's expectations in bold and transcendent ways

Pr0xima's sound embraces harder, darker, acidic, and industrial tones. Currently, she is developing tracks with a stripped-back approach, blending honed grooves, syncopation, and ethereal textures.
With deep respect for techno’s history, Pr0xima brings classic sounds into modernity, her signature style shaped by the hypnotic pull of the 303. When not crafting productions, she delivers electrifying live synth hardware performances at events like Volt Divers, Nightbloom, and Pulse.
Her journey into electronic music began at age 6, captivated by her father’s morning plays of Underworld’s Dubnobasswithmyheadman. Today, her influences span legends like Plastikman, Green Velvet, Gesaffelstein, and Nikki Istrefi, driving her vision for techno’s new generation since the project’s inception in late 2022.
